To circumnavigate the island we recommend a minimum 9 night itinerary. This enables enough time to see the all the major highlights plus a little extra. For lasting memories of your holiday, and for a more thorough journey, a 15 night itinerary is just the ticket. If you prefer beaches and coastal scenery – the East Coast of Tasmania is a great choice. For the History Buffs plan a visit to Richmond(near Hobart),Port Arthur, Strahan, and Beaconfield(near Launceston). For cute country townships visit Stanley, Ross, Richmond(near Hobart), Longford(near Launceston), and St Helens.
